Imperial Japanese Army Sword JS5

Japanese Shin Gunto officer sword. Sword has been used during WW2 by Japanese army officer. Hand forged tachi mei signed blade with full length temper line with lot of activities between. Gendaito smith signed as Hizen Kuni Munetsugu. All original fittings and complete mounting. Rare light weight aluminum lacquered scabbard. Over all in excellent condition inside out. No rust, no pitting, no clips, no bend, no openings and no forging flaws at all. Nagasa measures 26" in length and sword is 39" overall with 9.25" handle.
